Q4 Performance Summary

  • SKRADD Non-Traded Equity REIT Indices: The SKRADD-NTRE, which allows for the inclusion of both diversified and sector-specific programs, returned -3.6% in Q4 2023. The SKRADD-NTRED, which includes only diversified programs, returned -3.2% for the quarter.

  • Publicly-Traded REITs: The more volatile S&P United States REIT Index generated a return of 16.0% in Q4, meaningfully outperforming non-traded REITs.

  • Core Real Estate Funds: The NCREIF Fund Index - Open-end Diversified Core Equity total return gross of fees for the quarter was -4.8%, underperforming both non-traded REIT indices.

  • Property-Level Returns: The NCREIF Property Index modestly outperformed non-traded REITs during the period with a return of -3.0%.

  • Non-Traded Equity REITs on Altidar:

    • Highest Return: Apollo Realty Income Solutions: 1.8% for the quarter.

    • Lowest Return: Cottonwood Communities: -13.6% for the quarter.
